BiS @ MiN

Tim Sweeney is one of those guys who may not be a household name, yet is known by all the DJs and producers worldwide who you sweat. He's hosted Beats In Space Radio every Tuesday night @ 10:30pm on WNYU (89.1 FM in New York) since he was an undergrad... coming up on two decades. This is a one-stop radio shop for all things tasteful and dancy. He's additionally the head of Beats In Space Records, also known for releasing the crème de la crème of untz.

Tim is exactly the type of artist we aim to showcase at Make It New. It's my pleasure to share the decks with him as we welcome him back to Boston.

Horse Meat Disco

The four chaps who comprise Horse Meat Disco do everything right when it comes to dance music today. They know their roots as well as anyone, yet they have an eye toward the future. They play a priceless collection of rare 45's and 12" that can truly transport you to another place. They produce music that is contemporarily relevant. They've created a new home for our community. And they're all around loveable folks. It's a pleasure to have HMD at Make It New and to share the decks with Mr. James Hillard himself.

Swells & Tensnake

Tensnake blew up back in the winter of 2010 with his single Coma Cat. In the years since, he's toured relentlessly while releasing mixes for the likes of Defected, Resident Advisor, FACT, and Mixmag.

It's our pleasure to welcome him back to MA in partnership with SoundScape. I'll be fluffing the room for 3 hours before he takes over at midnight. More info here.

Equinox @ The Marsh Post

The Marsh Post is one of Boston's most cherished party spots. Outdoors, nestled comfortably along The Charles River in Cambridge, it's best known as the site of Dancing On The Charles. I'm proud to help reinvent the space with my good friends The Rounds and Jay & Damien of Rabbit Revolution in the form of a 9-hour party called Equinox.

Jay & Damien are longitme friends and business partners of mine. They will handle the daytime vibes. Steve & Tim of The Rounds are friends from high school who blew me away a few years back when they sent me their first EP. They're going to do a live set and peform their debut album. Their music is amazing and I...

Leon Vynehall w/ Swells @ MiN

Join us as we welcome Leon Vynehall back to Make It New!

The romantic beat of Leon Vynehall's music has garnered acclaim from a wide variety of sources because his music appeals to more than the feet. And people noticed.

But Vynehall isn't a DJ, though he does that very well. He isn't a producer, although that is what he does. And he's certainly not an electronic artist, though how he creates is very techno-savvy.

As he told RBMA: "I don’t see myself as a house musician; I’m just a musician"

"House music with the heart of a singer/songwriter" -- Resident Advisor
"[Rojas] shows how a sweaty, pheromone-filled dance floor can...
